The interest for making tax deductions for household services is on the increase in Sweden. It is believed that a higher acceptance for buying cleaning services is behind it.
In 2009 that the centre-right government introduced the possibility to deduct costs for household assistance, such as cleaning, from your tax. While many people in big cities jumped on the offer, the response was slower in rural areas.
