Over a dozen young people were injured Friday when a staircase landing collapsed at the Villa Strömpis nightclub in Örebro, central Sweden. Thirteen youths were taken to the Örebro University Hospital, with some held overnight for treatment, the local P4 Örebro radio station reported.
Friday night's party had a jungle theme. The strapline for the club night was "Keep calm and party like an animal". Revelers were encouraged to dress up as animals and over 700 people had accepted Facebook invites to the party, which had an 18 age limit.
