Borg sees a SEK 25 billion surplus in the government's budget

Finance Minister Anders Borg says that the government has SEK 25 billion available in the state budget, for reforms and tax cuts before the next election. This goes against the analysis by the National Institute of Economic Research, which says Sweden’s budget only has a surplus of six billion at most, and warns that government spending will mean Sweden failing to meet the target of having one percent of GDP as a surplus.
